Effective accounts receivable management keeps your practice financially healthy. We monitor outstanding balances, follow up with payers, and manage patient collections to reduce days in A/R.

Keep Your Collections Moving Forward

Stay ahead of aging balances and unpaid claims. BillMedix delivers holistic account receivable management. So, you collect what you’ve earned, faster and with less stress for your team.

Why Do So Many Claims Go Unpaid?

Old claims piling up, inconsistent follow-ups, and lack of real-time reporting are the reasons your claims go unpaid. Insurance companies move slowly, patients delay payments, and tracking every account becomes a full-time job. Missed deadlines and unresolved denials can only exacerbate your cash flow issues.

That’s why practices rely on BillMedix. Our specialists manage your entire accounts receivable process, proactively tracking, prioritizing, and resolving outstanding claims. The result? Predictable collections, fewer write-offs, and financial clarity for your practice.

By handing your AR management to BillMedix, you’ll get the results directly, not when or how. Our certified professionals will manage end-to-end follow-ups, resolve issues, and expedite your payments. Then what? You see results, not stress, and your team gets back to what matters most.

FAQ'S

Outsourcing to a team of specialists enhances collection rates, lessens the administrative load, accelerates payment cycles and enables providers to pay more attention to patients.

The effective AR management process assists in curbing the outstanding balances, avoids revenue leakage, minimizes bad debt, and make sure that the practice receives accurate payment on time to perform services offered.

Delays often occur due to claim denials, coding errors, missing documentation, slow follow-ups, or patients’ inability to pay on time.

By dividing the number of days of that period by the A/R turnover ratio, you can calculate your average collection period. For instance, your average collection period would be 365 / 10 = 36.5 days. A good AR turnover ratio is generally high and indicates that you have an efficient collections process.

The important strategies are proactive follow-up on unpaid claims, denial resolution in time, patient balance reminder, correct claiming submission, and regular monitoring of AR aging reports.

  • Keep Sales Invoices in numerical order, keeping unpaid invoices at the top of the folder. This allows for quick and regular review of what is outstanding.
  • After Deposits have been entered, attach the cheque stub to the back of the invoice and file in numerical or alphabetical order.

Accounts Receivable management is the process of tracking, managing, and collecting payments owed to healthcare providers by insurance companies and patients. It ensures faster reimbursements and improved cash flow.
